Hanna Surveying and Engineering provided construction guidance surveying and as-built tunnel surveying for approximately 900-feet of 78-inch TLP on an 800-foot radius. This tunnel was mined by hand with the launch and receiving shafts already constructed. HSE’s guidance ensured the project’s successful completion, aiding in the contractor hitting the receiving shaft on perfect line and grade. This type of surveying is the most complex surveying that can be done across the surveying industry as a whole and is a testament to HSE’s expertise.
